We recently produced a series of playful product videos to compliment MiFroma’s Fondue Express “How Do YOU Fondue?” campaign.
We provided a wide array of services for this production, including scripting, casting, styling, filming and editing and many more of the specialized services required to produce professional branded video content. These product videos are being used online and on social, but have also been utilized at Fancy Food shows here in the US and have been taken up by MiFroma’s sister company in Switzerland!
We caught up with MiFroma’s Director of Marketing, Marissa DiMaio, to capture some fresh feedback on this not-so-cheesy project!
The Advantages of Product Videos
Mifroma’s Fondue Express is a unique product. It has authentic flavor and is rooted in Swiss tradition, but has been updated for modern convenience and appeal for everyday use. Video would allow the product to be shown and well understood, but also for the message to be crafted in a relatable way using humor and every day situations.
Using humor in a video is a great way to engage audiences and retain their interest, but also an effective way of being memorable and enhancing brand recall.
“We wanted the content to be humorous and applicable to every day. We want consumers to be able relate to the scenarios and occasions we highlighted as ideal opportunities to eat our delicious Fondue Express!”
Our sister company in Switzerland has also taken up these product videos and is now using the campaign in Switzerland. It’s a true compliment to the Grey Sky Films team and what they can do.
Mifroma’s Fondue Express campaign was based on the question “How Do YOU Fondue?”.
“I knew I wanted to create four lifestyle-based pieces of micro-content, each including a “FonDUE it” hero moment. We outlined the four scenarios, and the Grey Sky Films team encouraged us to take the humor a bit over the edge…I have to say it was the best move we ever made!”
